Therapeutic Approaches:

In each of our sessions, we will use a variety of approaches, guided by your goals and preferences, such as:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective treatment for working with unprocessed memories and negative thought patterns that can be a part of trauma.

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body oriented model that aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient.

Seeking Safety can help you to develop insight and tools to deal with co-current trauma and substance abuse.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you to uncover self-limiting beliefs and thought patterns and work to change them.

Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) is a modern, evidence-based approach for treating OCD. Instead of focusing on the anxiety or tolerating discomfort, I-CBT helps people understand how the obsessional doubts were created in the first place and how to come back to the here and now instead of being pulled into the obsessional story.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that views every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts that are guided by a core Self. IFS helps people access their undamaged, compassionate Self, which knows how to heal, and from that inner leadership, understand and transform their parts, fostering both inner and outer connectedness.

Rates & Insurance

I am an in-network provider for Aetna insurance. I considered an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies. At the beginning of each appointment, you will be responsible for payment by cash or check, and I will provide you with a receipt with all necessary information to submit to your insurance company.

I encourage you to contact your insurance company to verify coverage before we begin working together.

Appointments are $150 a session.

As frequent cancellations are disruptive to the therapeutic process, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy for appointments. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee except in the case of emergencies.
